Spend an evening at Daffodil discovering carefully selected wines alongside a menu created especially for the occasion.

Your evening begins at 6pm with a Prosecco reception, before the first pairing is served from 6.30pm. Throughout the evening, Bastien from Fine Wine Direct UK will guide you through each wine, sharing the stories, flavours and characteristics behind every glass.

In the kitchen, our Executive Head Chef, Jamie, will curate a menu designed around the wines, creating dishes that bring each pairing to life. With the menu and wine selection changing between events, every Wine Pairing Evening offers something new to discover.

This October, we’re turning our attention to Italian wines, with a hand-picked selection forming the heart of our next Wine Pairing Evening.

Throughout the night, Bastien from Fine Wines Direct UK will guide you through each glass, talking you through the aromas, tasting notes and characteristics to look out for, as well as how each wine works alongside its paired course.

With more than 100 years of combined experience in the wine trade, Fine Wines Direct UK work closely with producers and family vineyards from around the world, bringing plenty of knowledge to our relaxed wine tasting experience in Cardiff city centre.

Yes. Wine Pairing Evenings are a great option for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations or simply an evening out with friends. We recommend booking early if you’re coming as a larger group so we can try to seat everyone together.
