Spend an evening at Daffodil discovering carefully selected wines alongside a menu created especially for the occasion.
Your evening begins at 6pm with a Prosecco reception, before the first pairing is served from 6.30pm. Throughout the evening, Bastien from Fine Wine Direct UK will guide you through each wine, sharing the stories, flavours and characteristics behind every glass.
In the kitchen, our Executive Head Chef, Jamie, will curate a menu designed around the wines, creating dishes that bring each pairing to life. With the menu and wine selection changing between events, every Wine Pairing Evening offers something new to discover.

How does the Wine Pairing Evening work?
Guests are invited to arrive from 6pm for a Prosecco reception, with the evening beginning promptly at 6.30pm. Throughout the evening, each course will be served alongside its paired wine, with Bastien from Fine Wine Direct UK guiding you through the wines and the thinking behind each pairing.
Do I need to know much about wine?
Not at all. Our Wine Pairing Evenings are designed for everyone, whether you already know your wines or simply fancy trying something new. Bastien will talk you through each wine in a relaxed and approachable way throughout the evening.
Does the menu change for each Wine Pairing Evening?
Yes. Our Executive Head Chef, Jamie, creates a menu specifically for each event, with dishes chosen to complement the wines being served. This means every Wine Pairing Evening offers a different food and wine experience.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. As each Wine Pairing Evening features a specially curated menu, we’ll always do our best to accommodate your requirements where possible. We recommend contacting us in advance so our team can confirm what options are available.
What happens if I arrive late?
To keep the evening running smoothly for everyone, the first pairing begins promptly at 6.30pm and unfortunately we are unable to delay the start for late arrivals. We recommend arriving at 6pm so you can enjoy the Prosecco reception before the evening begins.
